Future Continuous Tense in English and also With Urdu/Hindi examples

Introduction about Future Continuous Tense:

Now it’s turn for for Future continuous tense. While i hope so that you have gone through all of those previous Lectures. Which are about forms of verbs and Basic introduction about Tenses and explanation about their other types with easiest possible understanding.

Now it’s time for a new tense. In this tense we’ll discuss about Future continuous tense. We describe it as the tense is about an action that will happen in future.
Also we use two new helping verbs with this on is “Will be” and other one is “Shall be” and also there will be addition of –ing and by using the first form of the verb.

In Urdu/Hindi we say Raha hoga, Rahi hogi, Rahay hun gay.

Examples:

  1. I Shall be working on my project tomorrow.
    • میں کل اپنے منصوبے پر کام کر رہا ہوں گا۔
    • Main kal apne mansube par kaam kar raha hoon ga.
  2. They Shall be playing football at the park this time next week.
    • وہ اگلے ہفتے اسی وقت پارک میں فٹ بال کھیل رہے ہوں گے۔
    • Woh agle hafte issi waqt park mein football khel rahe honge.
  3. She will be studying for her exam all day tomorrow.
    • وہ کل پورے دن اپنی امتحان کی تیاری کر رہی ہوگی۔
    • Woh kal poore din apni imtehan ki tayyari kar rahi hogi.
  4. We Shall be traveling to Islamabad next month.
    • ہم اگلے مہینے اسلام آباد سفر کر رہے ہوں گے۔
    • Hum agle mahine Islamabad safar kar rahe honge.
  5. He will be giving a speech at the conference tomorrow.
    • وہ کل کانفرنس میں ایک تقریر کر رہے ہوں گے۔
    • Woh kal conference mein ek taqreer kar rahe honge.

Now Rule # 1:

Will Be:

In case of Singulars (He, She, It and Name ) We use will Be as a helping verb in sentences along with the first form of the verb.
Below i am going to use some examples to make to understand better.

Examples:

She will be reading a book at this time tomorrow.

وہ کل اسی وقت ایک کتاب پڑھ رہی ہوگی۔
Woh kal issi waqt ek kitaab parh rahi hogi.


He will be cooking dinner for his family tomorrow evening.

وہ کل شام اپنے خاندان کے لیے کھانا پکا رہا ہوگا۔
Woh kal shaam apne khandan ke liye khana paka raha hoga.


The student will be writing an essay during the exam.

طالب علم امتحان کے دوران ایک مضمون لکھ رہا ہوگا۔
Talib e ilm imtehan ke doran ek mazmoon likh raha hoga.


The scientist will be conducting experiments in the laboratory next week.

سائنسدان اگلے ہفتے کمرے میں تجربے کر رہا ہوگا۔
Scientist agle hafte kamray mein tajurba kar raha hoga.


The teacher will be teaching a new lesson to the students tomorrow.

استاد کل طلباء کو ایک نیا سبق سکھا رہا ہوگا۔
Ustaad kal talibaa ko ek naya sabak sikh raha hoga.

Rule # 2:

Shall Be :

In case of Plurals (I, We , you and they ) We use Shall Be as a helping verb in sentences along with the first form of the verb.
Below i am going to use some examples to make to understand better.

Examples:

We shall be attending the workshop next month.

ہم اگلے مہینے ورکشاپ میں شرکت کر رہے ہوں گے۔
Hum agle mahine workshop mein shirkat kar rahe honge.


They shall be working on their assignments tomorrow.

وہ کل اپنی تفصیلات پر کام کر رہے ہوں گے۔
Woh kal apni tafseelat par kaam kar rahe honge.


The students shall be preparing for their exams next week.

طلباء اگلے ہفتے اپنی امتحانات کی تیاری کر رہے ہوں گے۔
Talibaa agle hafte apni imtehanat ki tayyari kar rahe honge.


We shall be celebrating Eid with our family this year.

ہم اس سال اپنے خاندان کے ساتھ عید منا رہے ہوں گے۔
Hum is saal apne khandan ke sath Eid mana rahe honge.


They shall be volunteering at the local charity event next weekend.

وہ اگلے ہفتے اپنی مقامی خیرات کے واقعے میں رضاکاری کر رہے ہوں گے۔
Woh agle hafte apni maqami khairat ke waqeye mein razakari kar rahe honge.

Rule # 3 for Negative Sentences:

For negative sentences we Not straight after the helping verb (Will be or Shall be).
Below are the few examples to make you understand better.

Examples:

We shall not be attending the meeting next week.
They shall not be traveling to Paris for their vacation.
The students shall not be studying late for their exams tomorrow.
She shall not be cooking dinner when you arrive.
He shall not be giving a presentation at the conference next week.

Rule # 3 for Interrogative Sentences:

Interrogative sentences are those sentences in which a question mark we see at the end of the sentence. So in these sentences Helping Verb (Will or Shall ) will be used in the beginning and Be to be used after the singular or plural.

  2. Shall they be traveling to Europe this time next month?
  3. Will she be cooking dinner when you arrive?
